Christ Church Kids seeks to provide a welcoming, safe, and nurturing environment for children and their parents who worship with us.
Values
We hope to be a place where kids learn about Jesus, experience his love, and live like him in their families and neighborhoods. We hope to build a community where parents learn about raising kids, receive support to love their families well, and feel challenged to live the abundant life Jesus offers.

Katie has volunteered in the Christ Church Kids ministry since its inception in 2006. With her youngest of three daughters in school, she has now come on staff as the Director of Christ Church Kids. She has a passion for helping families pursue Christ.

Colleen says, "I am happily married to Jerry Cambra and a proud grandma of 4. After retiring from teaching preschool after 13 years, I am doing things a little backwards by going to college to get an AA degree in Child Development. It is a blessing to now be on staff at Christ Church in a supporting role to Katie and the great volunteer teachers. I love my family at Christ Church, especially their kids as I am excited to see God raise them up to be our future leaders." |

Hanna Chen

Hanna grew up on the East Coast where she earned her B.A. and M.S. in teaching English. Upon getting married, she and her husband Stephen moved abroad to live and teach in Shanghai for four years, making lasting friendships, eating amazing food, and experiencing the culture. In 2008, they returned stateside and settled in the Bay Area. Having an appreciation for how Christ Church Kids and its community have nurtured both her children, Hanna is excited and grateful for the privilege of helping to minister to other families in her role as Berkeley Site Director.
