Every quarter, we do “one church, one book,” and we’ve chosen The Chronicles of Narnia by C. S. Lewis for the summertime in the hopes that both adults and kids will enjoy these beloved stories together.

Starting Sunday, July 22nd, we will host facilitated conversations about the books -- what it means to live in the Lion’s world, to be Narnians, and the like.

Our book conversations will take place on site after Berkeley's worship service. Colin Chan Redemer, professor of liberal arts at St. Mary’s College, will be our guest presenter and facilitator.

To keep us all on the same page, we will be referring to this copy of the series. However, we will stick with Lewis’ original ordering of the stories, beginning with The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.

If you are looking for good audio versions, we recommend this one from BBC. And if you must go with an abridged version (gasp!), this one from Radio Theater is good, too.
