What is the Servant Team?
Jesus said, “I did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give my life as a ransom for many.” (Mk 10:45)

All of these folks are investing their time and energy and exercising their gifts and passions to fulfill our mission. Servant Team retreats and Saturday trainings give us a space to pray, learn, and discuss our mission: “Christ Church exists to lead people into a deeper relationship with Christ and his Church through community for the city.” In all of our endeavors, we seek a balanced life of Up (loving God), In (loving one another), and Out (loving neighbors).
“It was [Christ] who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ... From [Christ] the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.” (Eph 4:11-16)
