God Shares His Story: Would you Share yours?

It is our goal to share 104 stories in one year. Yes, that's a story in every Sunday Service at Christ Church!

Beginning in June, Christ Church will spend a year together walking through the Story of Scripture in a series entitled, "The Story: One Book, One Church, One Year." God's story is the story of a God who relentlessly pursues his people. God loves us, but he has lost us. And through Christ, he spares no expense in finding us and bringing us home. As the refrain goes in Sally Lloyd-Jones' Jesus Storybook Bible for children: "We are loved by God’s never-stopping, never-giving-up, unbreaking, always and forever love."

Our stories are a response to that love. We are not complete, but that love is bringing us to completion. These stories will be about new found faith, reconciliation, generosity, suffering, addiction, healing, hope, marriage--simply put, they are stories about us and how we think God might be at work in our lives--shaping and forming our stories as he beautifies his workmanship.
