Beth Todd

CCKids Coordinator

Beth began serving as CCKids Coordinator in late 2025 after several years staying home with her children. Her professional background includes teaching in higher ed, nonprofit communications for a foster care nonprofit, and journalism. She holds a Master’s Degree in English from San Francisco State University and taught community college composition classes and tutored college writers before welcoming her first daughter. Since then, she has volunteered as a teacher and helper at a co-op forest school, children’s garden program, and Sunday school. Fostering curiosity and building relationships that nurture spiritual and intellectual growth are her passions.

A Bay Area native, she has lived in four different Bay Area counties, but the East Bay is her favorite. Beth lives with her husband and two daughters in Oakland and enjoys learning languages, watching musicals, and dreaming about where to travel next.
