In a world where speed and efficiency are highly prized, sometimes the most countercultural and profitable thing that you can do is sit down and read a book. A book doesn't have flashing lights, can be dull at times, and is a much longer time investment than a movie.
So why read books?
Books are a way that we can sit and soak in great stories, take in fantastic teaching, and learn more about the wider world. They also require us to be invested in ways that can be profoundly uncomfortable in our modern age. We can be wholly immersed in a book in ways that social media, work, and other content simply can't achieve. A good book takes hold of the soul and mind and shapes them in ways that you only realize years later. Below, you will find a collection of books curated by the Pastors and Elders that aim to do just that: capture you wholeheartedly. This list covers a wide variety of topics but is by no means exhaustive. We encourage you to pick up one of these books, whether in our book stall or online, and see how it forms and challenges you!
